Starting on the afternoon of Friday, January 26, the Montana Winter Fair offers a variety of events and activities that cater to all ages and interests. Whether you're a rancher, an artist, a rodeo enthusiast, or simply someone looking for a good time, this fair has something for everyone.
The Highlights of the Montana State Fair
Over 20 events will be hosted at several venues throughout Lewistown at this year’s fair. From the Fergus County Fairgrounds to Main Street, the entire community comes alive with the spirit of the Montana Winter Fair.
At the Fergus County Fairgrounds north of town, the Trade Center, Pavilion Sale Barn (north end of the Pavilion), Pavilion Arena and Draft Horse Barn will be utilized. On Main Street, The Eagles, The Lewistown Art Center and Celebration Fellowship Church (at the top of the hill) will all host Winter Fair happenings.
Attendees can immerse themselves in the Western Trade Show, Quilt and Fiber Arts Show, Skijoring, Fiddle Contest, Livestock Judging Contest, Chili and Cinnamon Roll Cookoffs, Stick Horse Rodeo, a Natural Horsemanship Clinic, Small Animal Shows (Dog, Cat, Rabbit, and Poultry), and Youth Beef Show.
