158 Breezy Point Lane, located directly on the Marian Hills Golf Course just outside of Malta, Montana, is a Subdivision Lot measuring 1.76 acres. A beautiful home was built here in 2015, where the owner lived for short time before a devastating fire in 2020. Thankfully no one was hurt, but the house was deemed unlivable. All exterior walls (full basement and main floor) were built from Insulated Concrete Forms, and therefore still stand. The home originally measured 3,964 total square feet, 1,982 square feet on the main floor and another 1,982 square feet in the unfinished basement. The structure measures approximatley 80' long by 40' wide. A large master bedroom and master bath were located on the main floor, with walk in shower that led to an inground, indoor pool and hot tub. The basement was, and still is, framed for 3 bedrooms; a family room, full bath and mechanical room, with a walk-out sliding glass door facing east from the daylight basement. All windows in the home are still intact, as is much of the tile work. The fire was contained to the attached garage but did significant damage to the roof, which has been removed. Two decks are still in place, one off the master bedroom and one off the living room, both overlooking a pond to the east of the house, where the owner no doubt intended to watch the sunrise. An incredibly efficient Geothermal heating and cooling system was installed, and propane fuels an On-Demand Hot Water Heater. While these are both still in place and have been somewhat protected from the elements, their condition is unknown. A 20’ x 24’ detached garage sits on the property, built in 2015 and entirely untouched by the fire. This is a great location and a great start to a home for someone who is looking to build. Much of the expense has already been incurred, private well and septic are in place, as is power, heating system, a propane, and with the concrete poured and many salvageable materials, someone with building knowledge and ability can take it from here and turn it into a home once again.
